Individual gamers and console makers could significantly reduce energy use from video games, according to study that identified the Nintendo Wii as the industry’s most efficient “juice sipper.”
Apparently games are wasting energy when they use their gaming consoles. The problem is that they don’t have to turn the machine off anymore, which means that it’s constantly sucking energy. Nintindo Wii has come up with a power saving mode that is about as green as it gets for gamers.
